2. Your results, by pillar
Start with these
- Test for radon. It's a gas you can't see or smell, so a test kit is the only way to know. Fix the home at or above 100 Bq/m³ (WHO) or 4 pCi/L (US EPA).
- Put a carbon monoxide alarm on each floor, outside each sleeping area. Never run a generator or idle a car indoors or in a garage.
- Make your home and car smoke-free. There's no safe level of secondhand smoke, and no smoking indoors is the only full protection.
- Use a range hood fan vented to the outdoors whenever you cook on gas.
- Fix the water problem first, dry wet spots within 24 to 48 hours, and keep indoor humidity under 60%. For mold bigger than about 10 square feet, get help.
- Wipe peeling or chipping paint with a wet cloth and fix small patches soon, without sanding. Leave stripping old paint to a certified professional.
- Test well water at least once a year for coliform bacteria, nitrates, dissolved solids and pH, and ask your local health office what else to test for.
- Add fruit or vegetables to one meal a day, working toward at least 400 g a day.
- Pick fish lower in mercury, like salmon, shrimp, cod or tilapia. Skip shark, swordfish, king mackerel and bigeye tuna.
- Aim for 7 hours or more, with steady bed and wake times.
- Any activity beats none. Build toward 150 to 300 minutes of moderate activity a week.
- Reach out to one person this week. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or call 109 in Korea.
Nothing to change from what you answered. Have a look at the pillars below anyway.

3. Make one of them a plan
Plans written as "when this happens, I will do that" get done more often than good intentions. (Gollwitzer and Sheeran, 2006)
4. Ideas behind it
Three short reads on how to weigh what you just saw.
What numbers can't tell you
Health numbers describe groups. You are one person, and you get the final say.
Your body already does the cleaning
No cleanse needed. Take in less of the few things that matter, and add more of what helps.
One small step at a time
Change one thing, plan when you'll do it, keep light track, and give it weeks.
